Research Interests
Andrew obtained a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience from the University of Sydney in 2014, graduating with first-class honours. Thereafter, he undertook a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Science at The University of Sydney, investigating the aetiopathogenesis and laboratory diagnosis of ovine footrot. To maintain momentum Andrew commenced as a research associate with the Farm Animal Health group, investigating novel vaccine formulations for ovine footrot.
Andrew’s research interests include diagnosis of infectious diseases, microbial genomics, and the role of the microbiome in the development of infectious diseases.
