Karen completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Sydney, majoring in animal health and disease. She is currently completing a PhD investigating the impact and prevalence of benign and the lesser virulent forms of footrot in NSW. Karen has a personal interest in applied animal health research, in particular, the diagnosis of and methods for control of footrot..
