An anamnestic serological test for ovine footrot

This was the first report of a test to detect recent incidence of virulent footrot in sheep  based on testing blood samples. D. nodosus antigen was injected subcutaneously and blood was collected a few days later to measure an anamnestic response in an ELISA.
